  • ›60%: Loss of the symphysis of the mandible. DC 9902.
  • ›30%: Loss of half or less of the body of the mandible — not including the symphysis. DC 9902.
  • ›20%: Loss of a segment of the ramus without involvement of the body. DC 9902.
  • ›0%: Documented but below compensable threshold — service connected but non-compensable.
  • ›DC 9902: Partial mandible loss — rated by location and extent of bone lost.
  • ›70%: More than half, or ramus with condyloid process.
  • ›60%: Ramus without condyloid process.
